Now Available - The latest installment to the haunting Lustful Possession Series + a Cover Reveal

Still breaking all the romance rules...

When last we visited the Lustful Possession Series it had take a sudden medieval time-travel twist, in The Fall of Cairnnon Castle

Well we're back in the present now and the LP saga has taken a surprise m/m twist.

Stay tuned until the end of this post for the Cover Reveal of the 5th book in the LP Series, Dark Seed...

Rising From the Darkness
warning: Part 4 has an m/m pairing

This book was previously published. It has been re-edited, re-formatted, and re-released.

When mired in the darkness, seek the light…

Against his mother’s wishes, Mishel Hewes decides to accompany his uncle Arnie Rollison on his yearly sabbatical to Ireland. It’s not a pleasure trip by any means, but a journey to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the day that Cairnnon Castle fell.

Once in Ireland, the pair find that Castle Cairnnon is being resurrected at an alarming rate, by some unknown benefactor. And Arnie’s first concern is for the body of his young intern who was buried when the Castle toppled a quarter of a century before.

Hoping to provide some solace for his adoptive uncle, Mish gets himself hired on the construction crew, which isn’t a hardship with all the ripped workmen around. However, once inside the creepy stronghold, Mish is plagued by the same strange phenomenon that had once threatened his father, on the ill-fated trip many years before. Sick and suffering from the horrible effects of Cairnnon’s infamous elemental, Mish falls to his knees convinced he is at death’s door. What he finds instead can only be described as a miracle. Or perhaps one blessing is just another curse.

Warning: This collection of short stories contains m/f and m/m couplings and cliff-hangers. Installments must be read in order.

Excerpt:

Joel snorted. “We’ll see.” He took a large swallow of his beer, then picked up one of the shot glasses. “Startin’ now.” Joel poured the whiskey on top of the creamy liqueur and then dropped the entire jigger into his pint. Without pause, he picked it up, gave a silent salute, then chugged the contents. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand as he slammed the glass onto the tabletop. With an evil grin, he challenged, “Your turn.”

Mish mixed the whiskey and Irish Cream, then sank it to the bottom of the beer. He picked it up and stared at the concoction.

“Ya’d better get after it before it curdles. Tha’s no’ wha’
you want,” Joel advised, his Irish dialect coming out stronger. It was damn sexy, too.

Inhaling deep first, Mish then downed the blend, beyond his better judgment. With a trembling hand he set the glass on the table.

“Yeow!” he exclaimed when he could breathe again.

Joel chuckled, and the sound went straight through Mish. “Now, in about three minutes you’ll be more relaxed, and we can get to know each other better.” Joel signaled to Quin at the bar.

Mish cleared his throat. “Do you like working at the Cairnnon site?” He was already feeling warmth spreading throughout his body from the alcoholic concoction.

“Yeah, I guess. It’s work.”

“So who is it you work for? I heard the place was bought by some unknown buyer.”

“You know, if I didn’t know better, I would think you were some kinda reporter or somethin’.” Mish recoiled.

“A reporter?”

“Yeah, you show up 'ere in Ireland, seekin’ short term work, and askin’ way too many questions.”

For some reason, Mish felt guilty. He scrambled for something to say while Quin dropped off another pint each.

As soon as the bartender was out of earshot, Joel turned in Mish’s direction, even bringing one leg up onto the bench seat between them. He took Mish by the shoulders and peered deep into his eyes. “Why would I bring you onto my work site? What are ya up ta, Mishel Hewes?”

Without thought, Mishel poured out the entire story, and when he was finished he wondered what the fuck had compelled him to do such a thing.

But to his delight the other man’s features softened, and Mish was lost in his gaze. He wanted nothing more than to taste the other man’s lips and to intensify the situation.

Unexpectedly, Joel smoothed his thumb over Mish’s mouth.

“Hmmm, me, too.” Joel grinned as if he could hear Mish’s thoughts. Joel picked up his beer. “Now, was that so hard?”

No, but something else is uncomfortably firm.

Joel snorted.

Mishel shook his head. He actually had to fist his hands under the table. He was on the verge of doing something crazy.

#MySexySaturday - One Sexy Irishman #mmromance

My Sexy Howl ~ @MySexySaturday #MySexySaturday #MSS51

Welcome to the 51st week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week is all about my sexy howl.  And you all know what we mean…don’t you?

It’s all about the shifters this week. Those sexy beings that howl in the night. Or in the day when necessary. Shifters are downright sexy and if you have one, we want to see them.

This snip is from an upcoming release, part of the Wild Darkness Calls Collection. This excerpt comes from my series of short stories (the Lustful Possession Series) Book 5 Dark Seed. A little m/m action. I'm not saying Joel is a shifter— at this point in the story, we don't know exactly what he is, other than one sexy feckin' Irishman!

Completely naked, Mishel lounged with Joel in his bed after some intense rough and tumble sex. Letting his hand turn circles on Joel’s sculpted chest, Mish moved, looming over his lover. “Are ya ever gonna tell me about yourself?”

Inhaling deeply, Joel moved out from under him and stood, pulling on a pair of boxers. Mish followed him.

“You obviously have a gift...”

“A gift,” Joel scoffed. “Ya had it more right the day when ya asked me what I was. And ya might want ta dress now, because I’m certain, you’ll be runnin’ the opposite direction when I’ve finished.”

Gripping Joel’s shoulders tightly, Mish looked into his eyes. “You seem to know what I’m thinking and feeling at all times. I think you know I’ve no intention of going anywhere. Even though I question why you work for Haydn O’Conner, I’m still not inclined to run.”

Joel searched Mish’s gaze. “Men are usually afraid of me. Ya never have been. As you say, even though ya have questions, your mind is open. But then again, ya have a bit of protection tha’ I have not seen with most humans.”
“Oh?” Mish leaned forward in interest.

I hope you enjoyed this little teaser from my upcoming release. Don't forget to check out the other MSS authors from the list below.

Have a Sexy Saturday!
