#MySexySaturday Does Valentine's Day

Welcome to the 79th week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme is A Sexy Valentine and is our nod to Valentine’s Day. It’s not every day that we land on the most important holiday for romance writers. But we did and decided to use it to our best advantage. Have you ever had a special Valentine’s Day or moment? One where your significant other did something spectacular for you. Or how about that husband who knew all you wanted was a good night’s sleep and made sure you got it. Then there are those moments where you get a special gift you don’t know is coming. Sometimes it’s flowers, or chocolates or even an engagement ring. Just something to show just how special you are to your one and only.

My husband is not a romantic guy. That's probably why I write romance,
it's the only way I get any. LOL

So in the spirit of romance how about flowers from one of the most irresistible characters I've ever written. Happy Valentine's Day, All, (from me) and Victor Mayhue...

The bedroom was filled with roses. Every colour you could think of. Red, white, pink and every colour nature couldn’t create as well. Blues and purples.

“Ohhh,” I breathed.

“Yeah, good, huh?” he asked, seeking my approval.

“If there are petals on the bed, you get a ten.”

He turned me towards the bed while he still held me in his arms. There were petals on the bed, of every colour, shaped into a heart.

“Oh, you are awfully good at wooing. Put me down so I can show you how good you are.”
Hope you enjoyed this snip from book six in the Always Cambridge Series

Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day, hoping you are spending it with the one you love, and as always have a Sexy Saturday! (Don't forget to hop on through the linky list below)

  1. Nice touch! When we were dating, my husband (then my boyfriend) bought 100 roses and left them all over my house.
