#WeWriWa Lost Time - Teaser 7 #8Sunday #timetravel

Weekend Writing Warriors

Here's another 10 from one of my old favourites, Lost Time, an erotic time-travel romance. (published January 2013) Skipping ahead a bit, Hannah is on a bus on the second leg of her UK holiday, headed for Wales. Her dream vacation is slowly turning into a nightmare...

Someone tapped her shoulder.

She must have dozed off, she realised. She thought he’d spoken to her in Welsh, which she didn’t understand. It was such a guttural-sounding language.

“Pardon, I’m sorry, can you speak English?"

He grinned and spoke slowly. “This is the last bus tonight. This is as far as it goes.”

“Did I miss my stop?” She had a sinking feeling.

  1. Comming from Africa, my experience of the little Gaelic I heard in Wales was musical. Goes to show, it takes all ears. Nice snippet, thank you for sharing.

  4. The last thing you want when in a strange place is to fall asleep on the last bus and end up in somewhere completely unknown. I suspect the adventure is about to begin.

  7. Don't you hate it when you get on the wrong bus in a foreign country? Her adventure gets hairier!
