So far, the first two stories have been contemporary. In this latest installment the Lustful Possession Series takes a sudden medieval twist. I have to say, this story is my favorite, of the series. Romantic suspense/thriller, a love triangle and time-travel, what's not to love!

The next thing Crish knew, she was plastered to the opposite side of it, with Josh nibbling on her neck.
Just as it had happened at the Allen house, one minute she was about to give him a piece of her mind, and the next, she was nothing more than his willing slave.
“The things I am going to do to you, my sweet Crishtin,” Josh said, running his tongue up her neck, then nipping at her jaw. It sent goose bumps over her entire body.
He found her lips and treated her to a sweltering kiss. She knew by the fervent full-on assault it was not Josh, but Miles who was piloting this passionate farewell.
“Don’t you think you should give this one to Josh, Miles? He’s the one going away,” Crish suggested between kisses. She wasn’t about to deny herself the pleasure of necking with Miles, despite the guilt that hit her. Dear God, the dead man can kiss.
“To hell with him, he’s the one taking me away from you and Shell for an extended period, and it was also his absurd decision about this intolerable abstinence for the last week.”
“He did? Why?”
“He thinks he can protect you…from me, if he stays away from you.”
“Wait, stop.” Crish grabbed Josh’s chin to stop Miles from kissing her. She couldn’t think when he was overwhelming her with his delicious lips.
He paused, but returned her stare with unfocused desire in his eyes.
“Do I need protection from you, Miles?”
“No, my love, I would never hurt you.”
“But you’re hurting Shelley by wanting to be with me…more than you want to be with her.”
He smirked. “Is that what you think?”
She waited.
“Open up your mind, sweet-baby. Or better yet, here, close your eyes.” He placed his hand over her lids. “Now remember what it was like the night that Shell and I were married and you were able to channel her but you were still fully aware.”
Once she’d nodded, he continued. “She’s closing you off so that you don’t know. You think I’m the only one trying to make time with you, baby? Na-huh. She’s been makin’ it with Josh. Using your body. You just don’t remember. Take a deep breath and let your mind expand, get to that place where Shelley is, and you’ll find exactly what she and Josh have been up to.”
Doing as he instructed, Crish focused all her attention and was bombarded by a montage of images of Shelley and Josh in every sexual position imaginable and some she didn’t know were possible.
“Ohhh. Oh, Miles.”
“Mmm, now let’s throw a few images of our own into their awareness, shall we?”
Crish swallowed hard, trying to think. “M…muh, maybe I should stay away from you. If Josh thinks it would be in my best interests to avoid you, then maybe for my own good, I should. He knows you and your motives better than I do.”
Crowding her, he treated her to another deep soul-searing kiss that left her knees weak and trembling. When he released her, he even took a step back, so that she had to balance her own weight.
The bastard knew damn well the affect he had on her. Looking into his deep brown eyes, she didn’t see Josh at all.
“Now,” Miles said in a condescending tone. “We both know you don’t want to do that. You don’t want to stay away from me.” He smoothed his thumb over her jaw. “I can see the desire in your eyes, Crish.”
With little confidence in her words, she countered, “But how do you know it’s not just because I’m attracted to Josh’s physical appearance? I’m seeing him, not you.”
“How do I know? Your breath is shallow. The pulse at the base of your lovely neck”—he leaned in and sucked softly on the tender flesh there, sending a delicious skittering sensation straight to her pussy—“is beating erratically. Don’t tell me it’s his good looks you’re attracted to. Admit it to yourself, my sweet-baby.
“You are just as drawn to me. And I know because I am aware of when he takes you.” His eyes darkened and intensified. “And I know that although you enjoy being with him and yes, he can turn you on, we all know you prefer me.”
“We all know?” Her voice squeaked. “You mean, Josh and Shelley too?”
A cocky smirk was the only verification he gave.
“But for right now…” He pulled a scarf down from the hook on the back of the door. “I don’t want you to see him.” He made to tie the scarf around her head.
She shook her head, uncertain of his intent.

Neve Brádach opened her eyes. She was floating outside her body, above herself, looking down through the rubble and ruin that just hours ago had been Cairnnon Castle. Centuries-old stones and debris lay on top of her broken body, but somehow, she managed to see through the layers to her physical form below.
Unbelievably, sadness at her own horrific demise was not her first concern.
“Neve! Neve! We’re coming! Don’t give up! I’ll get you out!” It was Arnie Rollison’s frantic voice. The team-leader and her mentor. The man she’d longed to work with for years was now digging desperately with his bare hands. Unguarded tears ran down his dirty cheeks, leaving trails.
She felt sorry for him. He sounded so adamant, so determined. As if he still had hope.
There were tons and tons of wreckage. Even if she were still alive—and she wasn’t convinced that she was—they’d never reach her in time.
Neve laid a hand on his shoulder. “Arnie. Stop, my friend.”
His head twitched, as if he’d heard her, and his frenetic actions ceased for a moment.
“I’m sorry, Neve. I’m so sorry!”
Without warning, she was jerked back inside her body. The pain was dull, not sharp like it had been in the beginning.
Shit! I’m not dead. But I’m goin’ to die in here. I’ve seen the devastation above me. Death was going to be long and arduous. “Come back to me,” she called Death. “Please come and take me.” But as she lay fading in and out of consciousness and time ticked by, she wasn’t sure if she begged Death to claim her permanently or for it to take her again and again as it had earlier. She longed for the carnal bliss that Death could provide. Her body tingled at the memory as the blackness once again enveloped her.

The next time she woke, the weight had been lifted from her chest. She opened her eyes, and to her astonishment, she was able to move her arms and legs. She looked down at her limbs.
“What am I wearing?” She let her fingers run over the unfamiliar fabric. “Where am I?” She searched the strange room. She blinked rapidly, confused. Who am I?
Her mind was blank, devoid of all memory.
Noise, like that of a large crowd reached her ears. Gaining her feet, she followed the sound, out of the room and down a hallway.
It seemed like a party. Everyone was in costume. Lit torches in sconces lined the wall, giving the entire area a dreamlike quality.
From nowhere, someone grabbed her. “There ya are. Where have ya been?”
Neve looked up at the man who stared down at her with deep intensity. Unable to stop her reaction, she gasped. He was the most incredible looking man she’d ever laid eyes on. Chiseled, rugged features. Striking, dark eyes. Strong chin. Tall. Muscular. He wore a crisp-looking white linen shirt, baggy trousers, and a blue and green checked sash.
He smiled, obviously sensing her attraction to him.
“Watch that smoulderin’ gaze, my sweet Nevaeh, or I will throw ya over my shoulder, with or without the vows, and take ya to my chambers and ravish ya until ya canna walk.”
